Examples of my most popular routes include...

Brinore tramroad – An atmospheric walk along an old tramroad linking mid and south Wales on the edge of the central Brecon Beacons. 13kms with 150m of ascent. Stretch.

The Modern Iron Age – An unexpectedly scenic stroll through a fascinating landscape made famous by the novels of Alexander Cordell. 15kms with 120m of ascent. Stretch.

The Hollow Mountain – A stunningly scenic exploration of human & natural engineering, high above the Usk Valley! 15kms with 350m of ascent. Stretch.


Stroll – A straightforward walk of less than 10kms, mostly on good paths.

Stretch – Mainly between 10kms and 15kms, these walks are slightly more demanding and may include short, steep climbs or sections of rough terrain.

Strenuous – Full-on hill-walking with long or steep climbs, sometimes on difficult terrain.
